countdown to Cape Cod
My last week was full of stuff involving Joel and school. On Saturday Mom had her baby and after I visited her in the hospital I went to this youth day thing with people from my gym group. We drove way up on this mountain and played capture the flag with like thirty people over like ten acres of woody terrain. It was awesome. My team won and it was all because of me. Just kidding. I was part of the three man special forces team which penetrated enemy quarters and found the flag; which is the point to the game for those who don't know. You're stupid if you don't (just trying to help you find yourself).
I caught up with three people that I haven't seen for like a year. Ethan, Rachel and Zach(none of you will know them). It was good to see them.
Joel is cool. His squeaking is awesome. I forgot what it was like to have a baby in the house.
In less than a week I'll be enjoying Cape Cod.
For now...

Thanks for the update. Have fun at the Cape when you get there...
hahahahahah....For some reason, thought I was reading Katherine's blog, and it wasn't making a whole lot of sense.
Looking forward to having you guys here. Up for some four square volleyball? It gets old with only four people.
Relax with the "likes" dear boy, and you'll go far in life.--Sis #2
Dudette, he, like, only used it like once in the "that is like so cool" format. That is just the speak. When he goes into the bike biz, like, it'll go totally nuclear and you'll prolly like even not catch his drift, like ever!
Can't wait for you to get here! The weather's been awesome! The Browns left today so the house is practically empty. Sniff. (JK)
If you want to be TOTALLY exact, Derrick, Ben used "like" three times, and one of those times it was used correctly. Judging by your comment, you're even worse than he is! I am shocked! ; )
Ahh, Mr AHS, you completely missed the line " "that is LIKE so cool" format."
Whereby I did not deny he used the word "like" more than once, but only once did he use it in the "surfer dude" connotation.
I would humbly suggest that you brush up on your literary skills to help you actuate your proactive paradigm which you have set for yourself in an educated and highly thought out manner.
There, was that better? hhahahahaa.
By the "like so cool" line I presumed you meant "in an incorrect manner." However, upon further examination, I acknowledge that you were correct, albeit in a more specific context which you neglected to specify. Judging by the tone of your comment (which was quite well-written; I congratulate you) you either missed or ignored the little "; )" at the end of my comment. In the future, kindly take notice of this and other indicators of the writer's emotions as they can drasticly change the meaning of the entire composition.
Dude, I completely got the ;) which is why I wrote what I did. I say, you Sandfords take things SO seriously on blogs :)
When someone laughs at the end of their comment, it might actually mean something too :)
Anyway, isn't it great how miscommunications happen thru text because people try to express emotions by implying them? Sigh, which is why smiley faces and little "laughs" can be so dangerous. But do you realize how much txt it takes to adequately express emotion. Bleh...
wow derrick. talk about taking things seriously. :p
Exactly! I'm glad someone caught the irony of it all :) hahahahahaa
i just showed klara your blog, which she hasn't seen much of at all. The first thing she said was, "Why is he saying like so much?"
MY question is "why isn't he writing more?". Weird...
